Query regarding API

Hello,
I and my team members are planning on building a model on deep learning, for which we have scraped as well as used Kaggle as a source for the dataset. So we doubted that, is there any kind of compulsion to use Dr.Chrono's Api ??
If yes, then if the proper dataset is not there according to our requirement, then what are our options?

    Hi Pranav, The main requirement for this hackathon is to create a working software application using the DrChrono API. For any technical questions, please join and use the below google group.
